Sludge Life (PC, Switch): Jet Set Radio + Thief + Funghi Allucinogeni (Recensione Vandalica)

Sludge Life for Switch

► A short savage review to introduce Sludge Life, available on PC (Epic Store) and soon on Switch, Steam and other consoles. I think it is quite well known among the fans, but looking on Youtube I can’t find any other reviews in Italian and even few in English so I’m glad to tell you about them. Think of it as a combination of Jet Set Radio and Thief, as this summer 2020 is also Jet Set Radio’s 20th anniversary, so it would be nice to suggest a game similar to ours. Your goal in Sludge Life is to tag the city walls with your graffiti. You explore a small island that you can turn freely to get to the most ridiculous point on the map. The only limitation is your ability to observe your surroundings. You have to find a way to get to a certain place. By jumping between buildings, roofs and billboards, the main difference with the Jet Set Radio is the visual and slow motion. The game is personalized: you walk around the city, calmly observing the corners to find shortcuts. hidden stairs and secret passages It’s a slower exploration than skating on Jet Set Radio. The movement and importance of observing the surroundings reminds me of Thief or Deus Ex in Sludge Life. There are no cops or enemies trying to stop your painting mission on the wall. Just walk around the city, see the wall with the signs and try to find a way to get there.
